The APE Grid

The APE Rules for Numbers and Math Symbols

1. All characters are drawn using a single tap or one continuous stroke.
2. The numbers 0 to 9 are drawn in the two right most columns
   • Except the narrow number 1, which is drawn entirely in the 3rd column
   • All the numbers must be drawn three rows tall

The number 1 is the same as the letter l, but drawn in the third column

The * symbol is the same as the letter x, but drawn on the right side of the grid

The $ dollar symbol is the same as the letter s, only drawn in the top two rows

The € euro symbol is the same as the letter c, only drawn in the top two rows

The @ symbol is the same as the letter a, but extended up to the center segment
